Family
Dog training:
I
just want my dog to listen.
(6
months of age and up)
Leash
walking, sit, down, stay, stand, return to heel,
come, leave it and off at
an adult dog level.
The Family Dog program
develops your dog's listening skills and solves
behavioral problems such as jumping, barking,
chewing, separation anxiety and aggression etc.
If your dog isn’t doing what you want it to
that is because the dog is confused. We need to
learn to speak “dog”. First we must build a
foundation for learning and develop it to its
fullest.
Your
dog will become an accepted member of your
family and citizen of your community.
Program
includes a home consultation, initial private
lesson and 10 group lessons.
Advanced
Training:
Our Advanced
Training program is the natural progression to
off leash training for you and your dog.
All the basics will be transferred to off
leash. The off leash training will give you the
added control you desire from your dog. You
will be shown how to control your dog from a
distance with the use of hand signals. We also
concentrate the "drop on recall".
Introduction to jumping.
Obstacle
Agility Training:
This ten week program offers you and your dog an
opportunity to become a team and enjoy the
challenge and excitement that agility training
brings. All the different types of jumps,
tunnels, A-frame, dog walk, weave poles, teeter
totter, and pause table are part of our
programming. Our concentration is on
recreational agility. Which means it is just for
fun but if you want to compete then nothing is
stopping you. We enjoy all the dogs and there
capabilities. Agility can be a great way to work
out certain behavior issues and we use this to
our advantage.

Who
are our clients?
Housedogs
that are accustomed to a family setting. Our
philosophy is that a tired dog is a happy dog
which is why exercise is such a
fundamental part of our care combined with the
all important rest times between. We provide for
a periods of quiet relaxation for our guests.
Inadequate "down time" can cause a
myriad of health problems in dogs - nervousness,
destructive behaviour, poor appetite, excessive
shedding, etc. Our rest periods are therefore a
crucial part of maintaining a stress-free
atmosphere.
Why
are clients are happy?
When
they get home from vacation or just the office
they can relax as the dog has already been
exercised.
