Company is an education center focusing
on training of owners of puppies or adult dogs.
Home base for Puppy Basics and Family Dog
programs is in Russell Ontario serving the
greater Ottawa area. Students have come from
come from as far as Montreal, Cornwall, Cantley
and Kemptville.
What we do
We educate
owners at every stage of training, whether
at the planning stage, when the dog first
arrives in the home, or when problems have
developed. We develop a partnership between you
and your dog as well as with us. Our complete
dedication to owner education sets us apart.
Why
Training is
for the life and survival of the dog.
Owners will develop skills to train, maintain
and build the training into everyday life. All
family members are encouraged to participate in
the training of the family dog. For those whose
lives are too busy for the training part but can
maintain a level of training or those who do not
have the skills required we offer “We train
the dog then, we train the owner” program.
How
Methods for
training vary according to the dog and the owner's
requirements. Student input, comments and
comfort level all play an important role in the
instructions given. Our
programming allows flexibility for
students. Class times can be rearranged and
missed classes (with notification) can be made
up. We take all students on an individual basis
so there is no delay in starting classes.
Students requiring special attention will be
introduced to the class at the discretion of the
trainer e.g. in the case of any fear or
aggression issues in a dog.

and new insight into the understanding of dog
behavior as well as attending seminars and
training courses.
